Our Story

At The Archway Foundation Recovery Center, our nonprofit mission and values are the cornerstone of our commitment to patient care. Our focus is solely on each patient's well-being, ensuring that lives are prioritized over profits. This “patient over profit” mindset is the framework from which our entire organization was built, and why we are trusted by our community with the job of caring for men and women who are battling for their lives against the disease of addiction and alcoholism.

The Archway Foundation was established with the goal of serving our South Florida community. In 2018, The Archway Foundation opened its door is Parkland, Florida with its first spiritual immersion addiction recovery program. In 2023, our organization expanded our services in order to be able to help more people by opening the doors to people who have insurance. By doing this, we belive we can be most effective because we are able to reach a broader audience while still staying true to our mission and values

“Years ago as I sat with one of my mentors we discussed how we can better serve those entering treatment for addiction. We knew that the too many folks leave treatment only to relapse. again and again. With much prayer and thought we decided to do something that was considered radical. A spiritual immersion program. This meant it had to be a self pay treatment center as insurance companies would not pay for a curriculum like this. Although I knew we need a clinical component - spirituality would lead. 

The results have been outstanding. These clients many for the first time began to understand the depth of addiction and the solution to it. Further families were to be involved in this process so they can begin to heal. Clients were immediately put in touch with members of 12 steps fellowships and mentored by them.

Structure and an environment conducive to healing was created to better serve these clients suffering from addiction.

Working together with our clinical and medical team has allowed us to accomplish great victories over addiction”
